Horizons 2006

Hey Everyone! Hope your weekend was as good as ours. Seeing everything come together and getting to meet you and see all your smiling faces was such a high for all of us, and you made it so totally worth it.

We hope you made friends over the weekend and that your Horizons spirit will continue throughout the year. Already up on our plan is a Horizons reunion probably happening sometime in late october or early november, so keep your heads up for that.  Currently, we are sorting through some of the literally 1000s of photos taken over the weekend, and will post some kind of online photo album before september starts… either here, or most likely on facebook (so sign up!) if we do it on facebook, all of you can add your own pictures, so we can get to see more of your take on the weekend.

We will also be posting information and links to some of the things you saw during the weekend, like contact information for Andrew Ballie (Horizons connector) and Andy Thibodeau (speaker about the “stomach”) so that you can check out these things if you’re interested in finding out more. Again, we will be checking the Horizons account (albeit not as frequently) and you all have our personal e-mails and msns (yes, gmail can be used for msn) so if you have questions or want to chat, we are all here.

Welcome week is just around the corner and we look foward to seeing all of those orange bracelets out at all the events and activities. Hopefully you all take part, get involved and keep that spirit burning!

As you can tell we are super pumped about this conference, and everything is a go, everything is confirmed and all of the volunteer staff is super pumped and ready to meet you!  Just to remind you, registration is between 4:30 and 6 pm on Friday and check-out is between 5:00 and 5:30 pm.
